Utilising the latest Charlton & Jenrick raised burner technology the Infinity 800HD UBL is the first fire that comes with the addition of a unique electric LED under bed lighting system. This lighting system along with the natural gas fire and log fuel bed has resulted in the most realistic wood burning effect gas fire to date from Infinity.
Developed specially at our Telford laboratory, the new under bed lighting can be used separately from the gas to offer a burning ember bed look with flickering lights, to give that warm and cosy focal point, even if heat from the fire is not required.
The fuel bed lighting system can also be used in conjunction with the powerful gas flames for the ultimate realistic wood burning effect.
Operation of the fire is by radio frequency remote control, which allows fully featured control of both the gas flames and under bed illumination. The remote handset also offers electronic programmable thermostatic room control to deliver advanced energy management if required.
The fire comes supplied with a low voltage 9V 2000mA plug in transformer for an easy electrical installation. There is also a 9 volt battery backup kit provided in case of mains power outage.
Carefully proportioned to suit the majority of UK living spaces, the firebox operates with a Class 1 or Class 2 chimney and will fit into 32” and 36” standard chimney breasts without the need for additional building work in most cases.
As you would expect, there is a choice of aesthetic appearance starting with three internal firebox liners; beige patterned, red brick or reflective black glass. There are then two fuel bed options with a dark Walnut or light Silver birch log set and the choice of either standard glass or non reflective glass at the front of the fire for the ultimate in realism.
Gas operation offers five levels of flame effect with a very impressive 5.6kW output at an efficiency of 81% making it an Energy Class C appliance. Unlike many large gas fires, an air vent is not normally required in order to keep surveys and installations simple.
The all new 800HD UBL also comes with all the features and benefits of the Infinity High Definition (HD) range launched last autumn and fits with a large range of fireplaces in our range.
