Repair Visit

This is where there is a break down or an issue with a product that may need a repair. We need to determine if there are parts or upgrades available to carry out an effective repair. If a repair is made, we will health check (see below) the fire as standard.

Appliance Health Check

A check that is requested even though the fire is working and especially where there is not a full and current service history, for example following a house move.

The health check will consist of the same as service, any issues identified due to installation or site specific factors may require being referring to a third party specialist.

Manufacturer Annual Service

We take great care in designing, testing, and manufacturing our products to meet the highest quality and safety standards. To keep your fire operating at its best and maintain any warranty coverage, choose a manufacturer’s service carried out by a dedicated Charlton and Jenrick engineer.

Our team of experienced Gas Safe and HETAS approved engineers can handle both warranty repairs and annual servicing. They will not only perform all necessary safety checks on your appliance, but also clean it thoroughly, leaving it looking fresh and ready for the next winter season.

Our engineers will discuss any potential concerns with the product and explain how to resolve them. They are professional, courteous, and equipped with all necessary PPE for their own safety and that of our customers.

Have your appliance serviced and safety checked by the manufacturer. Our Chargeable Annual Service is a condition of the Extended Warranty, which requires regular servicing (every 12 months for Gas and Wood/Multi-Fuel Stoves or Fireplaces, every 24 months for electric fires) by a trained and qualified individual.

If our engineer arrives for a scheduled appointment and no one is home, no refund will be issued for the missed or aborted appointment. Additional charges will apply to reschedule.

Please note we require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice for any requests to cancel pre-arranged appointments.

Gas Appliances:

It is important to get as much background information about the product and any related issues as possible prior to agreeing for our engineer to attend. This will enable our engineer to gauge what is required for the visit.

Due to engineer geographical placement, we are only able to offer a manufactures service to customers in the UK mainland, this currently excludes Northern Ireland and some areas of Scotland which we will confirm.
