Choosing a new fire should be exciting and enjoyable. At Charlton & Jenrick, our range covers electric fires, gas fires and stoves, and wood-burning stoves, so there is a solution for everything from a modern media wall to a traditional inglenook fireplace. Our eBrochures bring these ranges together across electric, gas and wood categories, making it easier to compare the main options before visiting a local showroom.
This guide is not intended to list every model we offer. Instead, it highlights the key fires and stove ranges, and what type of home each one suits best.
Throughout this guide, we link to the various downloadable brochures.
Electric fires: style, flexibility and modern flame technology
Electric fires have moved a long way beyond being a fall-back option. They are now often the first choice for homeowners who want a striking focal point, easy day-to-day use and flexible installation without the need for a chimney or flue.
Our electric collection includes media-wall favourites such as Luminosa, iRange Slimline and iRange Deep, as well as more traditional inset options.
iRange Deep and iRange Slimline: best for media walls and feature walls
For contemporary interiors, the iRange is one of the standout choices. The iRange Deep models are designed for feature walls and room dividers, with removable side panels allowing one, two or three-sided installations. Features include app control, multiple flame colours, a 13-colour ambient fuel bed, optional mood lighting and a choice of log fuel beds.
The appeal here is scale and flexibility. If you are designing a media wall, open-plan living space, or statement room divider, the iRange gives you the architectural look often associated with high-end interior design.
Luminosa: best for premium electric realism
The Luminosa range is all about flame picture. It uses Real Flame Technology and a Dark Screen Programme to create a deeper, more vibrant flame effect, with embers, a smoke effect, and pulsating log lighting designed to deliver a luxury electric fire experience. It also offers practical benefits such as a 7-day programmable timer, electric thermostat, EcoDesign compliance, 2kW maximum heat output and a 5-year extended parts warranty.
Choose Luminosa if you want a premium electric fire that feels more like a centrepiece than a secondary heat source.
Opulus: best for upgrading a classic fireplace opening
The Opulus 16” is a clever option for homeowners who like the proportions of a traditional fireplace but want next-generation electric flame technology. It brings Real Flame Technology into a compact 16” format, with app control, multiple flame and log-light settings, EcoDesign compliance, open-window detection, two heat settings and compatibility with 14 fascia and fret options.
It is a strong choice for period homes, classic living rooms or anyone replacing an older inset fire without wanting a full redesign.
3D and 4D Ecoflame: best for versatile electric replacement fires
The 3D and 4D Ecoflame ranges are ideal when gas is not an option or when a simple electric installation is preferred. They are designed to suit traditional and contemporary rooms, with realistic flame effects, fuel bed options, and the ability to mix and match frets and trims.
The 16”/22” 4D Ecoflame is especially useful because the wide 22” model fits into a standard 16” opening, giving a broader flame picture without necessarily requiring a major fireplace rebuild.
Gas fires: real flame, strong heat output and choice of styles
For many homeowners, gas remains the perfect balance of real flame ambience, controllable heat and convenience. Our gas collection spans open-flame fires, glass-fronted fires, gas stoves and large-format gas fires, with selected models tested as hydrogen blend ready.
Paragon One Evolution: best for a classic open-flame gas fire.
The Paragon One Evolution is a strong choice for customers who want the familiar comfort of an open-flame gas fire. It is designed for Class 1 and Class 2 chimneys, offers 4.4kW heat output and 63% efficiency, and can be specified with slide or full sequential remote control.
The mixed-log fuel bed version delivers the same performance while offering a more contemporary campfire-style look. This is the model to consider when a customer wants a traditional gas-fire experience with modern styling and control options.
Paragon Focus HE and Focus RS Plus BF: best for efficiency
For homeowners who place efficiency high on the list, the Paragon Focus HE is one of the most important models in the gas range. It is a glass-fronted gas fire with 4.4kW heat output and 82% efficiency, suitable for Class 1 or Class 2 chimneys and available for Natural Gas or LPG.
For homes without a chimney, the Focus RS Plus BF is the key alternative. As a balanced-flue fire, it is designed for properties where a conventional chimney is not available, while still delivering 4.3kW heat output and 85% efficiency.
Paragon Edge and Panache 56SD: best for gas-stove styling
If the customer loves the look of a stove but wants the convenience of gas, the Paragon Edge range is a standout. The balanced-flue Paragon Edge BF offers 5kW heat output and 95% efficiency, while the Edge 3S versions add three-sided glass for a panoramic flame view.
The Panache 56SD CF is another strong gas-stove option, with 4.2kW output, 85% efficiency and a convenient control system operated from the handle. It suits both farmhouse-style inglenooks and more modern homes.
Paragon P11 and large-format gas fires: best for statement installations
For larger rooms or more architectural fireplace designs, the Paragon P11 and wider large-format gas fires are worth highlighting. The P11 has been updated for 2025 with a new slide control system, a large glass window, mixed log fuel bed, Bluetooth remote control option and 80% efficiency. It can be installed in different ways, including plastered-edge, limestone slips or fireplace surround installations.
This makes it a natural choice for customers who want a cleaner, more contemporary gas fire without losing the atmosphere of a real flame.
Wood-burning and multi-fuel stoves: real fire character with modern performance
For customers who want the unmistakable experience of a real stove, our wood-burning and multi-fuel ranges cover everything from traditional cast-door designs to contemporary cylindrical and panoramic styles.
Fireline: best all-round stove range
The Fireline range is one of our core stove collections. It uses advanced patented firebox combustion technology, with efficiencies starting at 78% and rising to 83%.
The range is designed to achieve DEFRA exemption, Ecodesign 2022 emissions standards and clearSkies Level 4 or 5 certification.
The breadth of Fireline is also important. It includes 4kW, 5kW and 8kW multi-fuel models, inset Ecostar stoves, and the Woodtec wood-burning range, including wide, deep, extra-wide, style, cylinder and double-sided models.
Choose Fireline when the customer wants proven stove engineering, lots of size choices and a balance of classic and modern styling.
Purevision: best for high-performance contemporary stove design
Purevision is the range to look at when performance and design are both priorities. The collection includes freestanding, inset, linear, classical and continental-style pedestal stoves. All Purevision stoves are SIA Ecodesign certified, DEFRA exempt for burning wood logs in smokeless zones, and clearSkies Level 4 or 5 certified, with clean-burning performance and thermal efficiency of up to 87.2%.
The Active Baffle System is a key feature, designed to make start-up easier while supporting high thermal efficiency and complete combustion.
Purevision is best suited to customers who want a more premium stove, particularly in contemporary homes or installations where the stove itself is intended to be a design feature.
Go Eco: best for value, choice and practical lifestyles
The Go Eco range is designed to offer a stove for every style and budget. It includes traditional stoves, high-line models, low-lintel options, circular stoves, outdoor models, glamping stoves and the BakeChef cooking stove.
Two models are especially easy to talk about with customers. The Go Eco Circulus is a cylindrical freestanding stove for modern homes, while the BakeChef combines a stove with a full-sized oven and hot plate, making it well suited to home, glamping and off-grid installations. Every model in the Go Eco range achieves SIA Ecodesign certification, DEFRA exemption for burning wood logs in smokeless zones, and clearSkies Level 4 or 5 certification.
Go Eco is the range to recommend when the customer wants practical, efficient stove performance with strong value and plenty of lifestyle-led options.
So, which fire should you choose?

For a modern media wall, start with iRange Deep, iRange Slimline or Luminosa. For a traditional fireplace opening, look at Opulus, 3D Ecoflame, 4D Ecoflame or a Paragon gas fire. For maximum gas efficiency, Focus HE, Focus RS Plus BF and Paragon Edge BF are key models to consider. For a real stove, Fireline is the broad all-rounder, Purevision is the premium performance choice, and Go Eco is ideal for value, versatility and practical living.
The best fire is not simply the one with the highest output or the biggest flame picture. It is the one that suits the room, the property, the installation requirements and the way the homeowner wants to live. That is why browsing the eBrochures is a useful first step, followed by a visit to a local showroom for tailored advice.
